Trevor Mania

Trevor is almost four months old now and we can't seem to take enough pictures.

And baby makes three!

On January 10, 2009 we welcomed our first child, Trevor Mathew into the world. He weighed a hefty 8 pounds 12 ounces, and was measured at 19 1/2 inches long (though we think it was a miscalculation because he was 21 inches at his first doctor visit 5 days later). He's been ruling the house ever since.

Growing, growing...

Shortly after our two year anniversary we were able to announce the happy news that we were expecting a baby with a due date in mid January 2009. Then came the months of patient anticipation for the newcomer we found out was going to be a boy. By Christmas 2008, Tara was nine months pregnant and ready to pop.

Going places

The first couple years of matrimony was pretty much all fun and games. We got the chance to see a lot of cool places together, taking trips to fun places like Vegas, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and a cruise to Mexico (Mike's favorite because of the unlimited chocolate molten cake).

Tropical getaway

They went on their honeymoon to the Florida Keys. Fortunately, the weather was perfect and they got there before the spring break rush. Every year they celebrate their anniversary with some key lime pie to reminisce.

Finally, on March 3, 2006 they tied the knot in the Newport Beach temple.

In the beginning...

Mike and Tara met at a Pierside/Seacliff combined singles ward bonfire at the beach in late summer of 2003. They went on their first "sort of" date (it was supposed to be a group activity but they were the only two that showed up) to the Queen Mary in January of 2004. By April, they were officially boyfriend-girlfriend and continued dating for the next two years.
